The CCS 2025 Atlantic 8-Ball Championships will be held November 7-10 in Dartmouth, NS at Dooly’s Portland St and Dooly’s Burnside locations.

2025-26 CCS League Members are eligible for all divisions.
(must have a paid CCS league membership for 2025-26 season).
Non-CCS League Members can pay a $25 CCS Player Member Fee to be eligible for Singles and Doubles Events.
CCS Added
$1000 cash in total will be added by CCS to the Singles events
All Singles and Team Division Winners will also receive Entry Fee and/or Cash Travel Allowances paid by CCS to attend the 2026 CCS Canadian Championships being held in March at the Sheraton Fallsview in Niagara Falls ON.
CCS provides plaques for the top finishers in each division of the Atlantic 8-Ball Championships.

Event Entry Information:
Each division has a maximum number of entries that can be accepted.
Entries will be accepted on a first to pay basis only.
Once divisions are full, a waiting list will be established continuing on a first to pay basis.
Entries fees can be paid based on current Fargo Ratings.
See below for ranking cutoffs and notes regarding those players that have a rating that may fall near the cutoff points.
Registration and Entry Fees must be received by October 31, 2025 to be entered without late penalty.
Entries received after Oct 31 are subject to $20 Late Fee penalty.
Final Registration deadline is November 5.
Non-CCS League Members must pay a $25 CCS Player Member Fee to be eligible for Singles and Doubles Events.
To Enter:
Send email transfer to atlanticccs8ball@gmail.com using password ‘atlanticccs’.
Then send an email to atlanticccs8ball@gmail.com stating name or names, divisions being entered, and indicating that payment has been sent.
Once payment is confirmed by administration, a reply will be sent to indicate your entry status.
Player Ranking
Players will be ranked according to Fargo Ratings as follows:
Standard:
Women: Under 425
Men: Under 500
Open:
Women: Under 500
Men: Under 590
Advanced:
Women: 500 and above
Men: 590 and above
Note: Fargo Ratings will be finalized and applied as of Oct 31, 2025.
It is possible a player/team will be subjected to a division change after initial registration.
Tournament Directors will have final determination.
If a player does not have a Fargo Rating, or have a Fargo Rating with sufficient robustness, then Tournament Directors will assign the player a Fargo Rating for the event.

Scotch Doubles:
Max 16 Teams - Female/Male Pairs
Cost: $160 ($120 Entry + $40 Registration per team)
Start Time: Friday November 7th at 2 PM. Location: Dooly’s Burnside.
Format: Double Knockout. Handicapped Races. Final is true Double Knockout.
Teams with one or more Advanced players Race to 5
Teams with one or more Open players Race to 4.
Teams with two Standard players Race to 3.
Note: Scotch Doubles event will not complete on November 7.
The final 3 or 4 teams will complete Scotch Doubles over the remainder of the long weekend, as scheduling availability allows.
Women’s Teams:
Max 8 Teams – 4 Player Teams (subs allowed)
Cost: $320 per team ($240 Entry + $80 Registration)
Start Time: Saturday November 8th at 10 AM. Location: TBD.
Format: Double Knockout. Match Races are first to win 9 Games.
Final is modified Double Knockout.
If the team from B-Side wins the first set of the final, an additional round is played to determine the winner. Each team will re-submit their lineup as they choose for the additional round.
If still tied after the additional round, each team will select one player to play a final sudden death game to determine the winner.
Standard Mixed Teams:
Max 16 Teams – 4 Player Teams (subs allowed)
Fargo Cutoff: Highest 4 Fargo ratings on a team can not total more than 2000.
Cost: $320 per team ($240 Entry + $80 Registration)
Start Time: Saturday November 8th at 10 AM. Location: TBD.
Format: Double Knockout. Match Races are first to win 9 Games.
Final is modified Double Knockout.
If the team from B-Side wins the first set of the final, an additional round is played to determine the winner. Each team will re-submit their lineup as they choose for the additional round.
If still tied after the additional round, each team will select one player to play a final sudden death game to determine the winner.
Open Mixed Teams:
Max 8 Teams – 5 Player Teams (subs allowed)
Fargo Cutoff: Highest 5 Fargo ratings on a team can not total more than 2950.
Cost: $400 per team ($300 Entry + $100 Registration)
Start Time: Saturday November 8th at 10 AM. Location: TBD.
Format: Double Knockout. Match Races are first to win 13 Games.
Final is modified Double Knockout.
If the team from B-Side wins the first set of the final, an additional round is played to determine the winner. Each team will re-submit their lineup as they choose for the additional round.
Note: Based upon number of entered teams, the advanced and open mixed team events may be combined with a handicap, if necessary.

Format: Double Knockout.
Races are first to win 6 games.
Final is one race to 8 games.
Note: Singles events will not complete on Sunday November 9.
It is expected that approximately the final 12 players will return on Monday November 10 to complete the event.
Advanced Mixed Singles:
Max 32 Players
Fargo Cutoff: No Fargo cutoff.
Cost: $120 ($100 Entry + $20 Registration)
Added Money: $300 by CCS

Format: Double Knockout.
Races are first to win 7 games.
Final is one race to 9 games.
Note: Singles events will not complete on Sunday November 9. It is expected that approximately the final 12 players will return on Monday November 10 to complete the event.
Dress Code:
Players must be neat and clean in appearance.
No ripped clothing of any kind, no athletic wear, no shorts.
Shoes must be closed toe, sneakers allowed.
Shirts must be sleeved, cover the shoulders and be an appropriate length.
Dress code will be at the discretion of the tournament organizers.
No headphones are earbuds allowed.
